NEW YEAR, NEW ADVENTURE
The start of a new year is always exciting.
It holds promise of adventure, hope, and the excitement of the journey that awaits.
This year I have all of those same emotions... but amplified. In this last season of transition God has been preparing me, preparing my heart for something big. I leave in three short months for Hawaii, to get training as a missionary and it is a huge leap.
This past year I have graduated from the best university (SIC EM BEARS), travelled to Jamaica, Panama, Minnesota, Texas, Israel, Spain, Costa Rica, and served as a full-time volunteer at YWAM San Diego/Baja. God has been growing me, challenging me. Simply asking me to serve in any and every way that I can. I've learned about serving with joy, even when i'm asked to serve in ways that don't always seem exciting. From barista, to nanny, to cleaning, to hosting teams with Homes of Hope, to being Santa's helper and using my photography to take pictures of the kids with Santa at our Christmas party, I've done it all- and it's been so fun.
I have absolutely no idea what this next year will bring.
BUT I AM EXCITED TO LEAP INTO THE UNKNOWN WITH GOD.
I don't know which places this year will take me, where my support will come from, or where God will lead me to join staff with Youth With a Mission. What i do know is that, He is faithful. He has thoughts and purposes over my life, and He is calling me to amazing adventure with Him. He is calling me to leap, so here it goes!
I am so thankful for all the peoplewho have supported me,
laughed with me, cried with me. You have truly made this past year special
and I would love to hear back from you! I pray that you have a blessed 2014,
as you leap into the adventures that God is calling you to.
